Super Bowl Ticket Prices Going Up
Tickets to this years Super Bowl are on the rise. Early reports suggesting that ticket prices fell below $1999 from Bloomberg are incorrect. Prices are over $2500 with all fees and are on the rise. With seating capacity at 30% less than last year you can expect it even harder to find a seat. We suggest getting your tickets early and not waiting until last minute. Last year last minute tickets started at $4000 the evening before and on game day. Most tickets are now In Hand and ready to ship in 24-28hrs. Check Pricing Here
Super Bowl ticket sales expected to surge after Championship games are played Sunday.
With 2 games this weekend the AFC and NFC championships are on the line. Both match ups are expected to be fighting wins as all teams in these games are competitors, there is no for sure win. It has been a few years since we have had match up that no matter which team makes it prices are expected to go up. As the New York Times reported this past week,a major share of tickets are purchased from the wealthy areas of New York and Washington D.C. Imagine the share of tickets that will be purchased if their own area teams get in, the Giants and Ravens. Not only will the wealthy be buying but the die hard fans too. The 49ers have not been in a Super Bowl or even played well for years so I am sure fans will be ready to travel, especially the younger generation in San Fransisco who have not had the opportunity to see the teams greatness almost two decades ago from Jerry Rice and Steve Young. New England fans are some of the most dedicated in the game. They are willing to go to great lengths to attend Patriot games and if that means spending thousands to get to Indy they will do so with no hesitation. As for a rematch between the Patriots and Giants where the last minute catch by Plaxico Burress from Eli Manning in 2007 won them the game, you can expect prices to double if not triple Sunday night to see this.
